Our food library is composed of edible wild plant conserves, dehydrated vegetables, sourdough, kombucha, and other living foods, and also conserves made from leftover vegetables and fruits from markets.

Some examples of what you can find in the food library are: Japanese knotweed jam, elderflower syrup, nettle and garlic-mustard pesto, nettle powder, or wild hope in oil and vinegar.

Is part of our research, our living, and artistic practice to develop knowledge about how to find, consume and process food in more ecological ways. Food became an artistic medium for us: to cook with, to collect it and to discuss about how it relates to our social and physical environment. We cook on-site with our portable oven and other cooking tools and we bring part of our food library around. Our portable food library is also used as currency to generate exchanges during our itineraries and collaborations.

You can find some elements of the food library in the Mercatino, that you can get to support the project.
