“Ruotala” is a movable structure used as a relational device to do site-specific research that helps us generate a spatial practice. “Ruotala” is in between an urban studio space and a vehicle, a performative space, an observatory, a guest and a host. Is made out of an office desk cut in two and inserted with wheels on the two sides.

On the desks, we transport our working materials like a chessboard, a map and a paraglider. Occasionally paragliding can be installed as a roof on top of the desk. The paragliding inflates collaborating with the wind in an open dialogue that turns the structure into a performative space.
